Bio
Escalera, who served as an assistant coach in the fall of 2025 before taking over as head coach in the February of 2026, finished third as a player his junior year at conference in 2024 and was second in his senior season, just two strokes behind first place.
His five-under at the GPAC Tournament in 2025 tied for the best finish in Hastings history since 2015 and earned him a spot on the GPAC All-Tournament Team. Escalera was recognized on the All-GPAC Teams in each of his four years.
Escalera has also worked at Lochland Country Club as a Pro-Shop attendant for three years.
