(Sioux City, Iowa) - The 2026 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Softball All-Conference team has been announced after a vote of league coaches. This year’s GPAC All-Conference Team consists of a first-team, second-team, and an honorable mention list.
(Fremont, NE) – In the third matchup GPAC Tournament between the #1-seed Midland Warriors and the #8-seed Hastings Broncos, the Broncos came up short in the 7-3 loss.

Each semester, the NAIA Scholar‑Athlete list celebrates student‑athletes who excel in both academic and athletic arenas. This honor recognizes student-athletes in each of the spring sports who have excelled academically, including baseball, softball, golf, lacrosse, track & field, tennis, flag football, beach volleyball and men's volleyball.
(Hastings, NE) – In the final regular season series of the season, Hastings took on Mount Marty in a pair of critical games to get into the GPAC Tournament. Tied at two in the bottom of the seventh in game one, senior Lauren Lee drilled a three-run home run for the 5-2 walk-off win, then with the game tied at eight, junior Kaylee Pinneo hit a two-run home run to walk it off, 10-8.
(Omaha, NE) – Going on the road to take on College of Saint Mary on Wednesday, senior Lauren Lee and junior Kaylee Pinneo each hit two home runs on the day, leading to 7-3 and 7-2 victories.
(Orange City, IA) – The Hastings Broncos took on (RV) Northwestern in a doubleheader on Monday afternoon, losing 6-4 in game one and 10-7 in game two.
(Sioux City, IA) – Playing the Briar Cliff Chargers on Sunday, Hastings held a 4-3 lead in game one, but Briar Cliff scored six unanswered runs to take the 9-4 win. In game two, Briar Cliff built a nine-run lead and while the Broncos chipped away at the lead, the Chargers won 11-7.
(Hastings, NE) – Taking on the Morningside Mustangs on Sunday afternoon, Hastings lost 13-3 in game one, but put up eight runs in their 8-2 game two victory.
(Seward, NE) – The Hastings Broncos took on the Concordia Bulldogs in a doubleheader on Monday afternoon in Seward, falling 2-0 in game one and 8-3 in game two.
(Hastings, NE) – In a weekend doubleheader against Midland, Hastings led for most of game one, then after Midland tied it in the sixth, an RBI-single by senior Ana Medeiros put the Broncos ahead for good, winning 8-7. In game two, Midland took a 3-0 lead on a pair of home runs in the sixth and held on for the 3-1 win.
(Hastings, NE) – Facing Waldorf on Saturday the Hastings softball team dropped game one, 13-4, then regrouped to win 11-0 in game two.
(Hastings, NE) – The Hastings Broncos lost 12-0 in game one and 7-1 in game two against the (RV) Dordt University Defenders on Friday.
(Crete, NE) – Taking on Doane in a doubleheader on Tuesday in Crete, Doane broke a 4-4 tie in the bottom of the sixth with five runs to win 9-4 in game one, then scored in every inning of game two to win, 16-9.
