Bio
King came to Hastings in January 2026 after spending the last two-and-a-half years as the Assistant Swim Coach at Lindsey Wilson University in Columbia, KY. He was responsible for assisting with practices, planning the schedules, and working as the recruiting and fundraising coordinator.
In 2024, he was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Assistant Coach of the Year as a result of coaching the women's team to place sixth at the NAIA National Tournament, as well as ninth place on the men's side. Both of his teams improved on those results this past season in 2025, with the women placing third and the men taking seventh at the NAIA National Tournament.
In addition to coaching at Lindsey Wilson during his time in Columbia, King has also been the Head Club Coach at SKY Swimming for developing kids ages 6-18 with their swimming technique and speed, as well serving as a summer lifeguard. King is Red Cross certified in CPR/Lifeguarding and is a Certified Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor.
King graduated from Lindsey Wilson in 2023 with a degree in Recreation, Tourism & Sport Management. As a student-athlete, he earned multiple swimming All-American awards and qualified for the NAIA National Championships all four years from 2020-2023.
