Bio

Pete Theoharis coached Hastings High softball for 14 years, elevating the program to elite status among programs in Nebraska. Theoharis guided the program to five district titles and trips to the state tournament. The program also won its only three conference titles, numerous tournament titles, along with several players achieving all-state status, while being named players of the year by local newspapers. Theoharis and his 273 wins ranks in the top-20 all-time for Nebraska high school softball. In addition, he was twice selected by his peers as a coach for the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star Softball Game. 

Theoharis earned his bachelor's degree in Journalism/News-Editorial from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1993 and his M.A.T./History from Hastings College in 2001.

Theoharis and his wife, Libby, have five children - Anastasia, Nikos, Jonathan, Demetrios and Lauren.
