Cheer Places 4th at Regionals

Baldwin City, KS - The Hastings College cheerleaders took part in its first ever regional competition placing fourth at the NAIA Northwest Regional on Saturday.

Earlier this year the Broncos placed second at the Great Plains Athletic Conference Invitational finishing just behind Morningside.

Hastings finished behind MidAmerica Nazarene, Morningside and Graceland by scoring 65.62083 points.

This was also the first year the Broncos added men to the competition squad that helped the team transition from non-stunt competition to stunt competition.

Sunday Feb. 26, the NAIA will hold a selection show for the NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance National Championship set to begin at 5:00 p.m. Check out naia.org ten minutes prior to the event for the link.
