Dance Impresses by taking First in Triangular
Hastings, NE - The Hastings College Crimson Spirit dance team brought its A game on Friday night by taking first in the triangular against York and Peru State.
After a stellar performance from York, Hastings knew it had to put on one of its best performances of the year and did just that with its first place finish. HC scored 73.05 points for the top spot as York came in at 68.1. Peru St. finished in third with 59.65 points.
Improvement is the key as the season progresses as the Lady Broncos finished third at the Concordia invite where they scored 67.86. There is still plenty of work to do if Hastings wants to catch up to national powerhouse Midland but HC is certainly making progress in the right direction.
Hastings will be back in action Wednesday Feb. 17 as Doane comes to town for a dual to be held at 7:00 p.m. inside Kiewit Gymnasium.
