Dager Wins PCC Conference Shoot, Team Takes 4th
(Lincoln, NE) - At the Prairie Circuit Classic Conference Shoot, senior Tanner Dager broke through to win the shoot individually, as the team fourth out of seven teams.
(Lincoln, NE) - At the Prairie Circuit Classic Conference Shoot, senior Tanner Dager broke through to win the shoot individually, as the team fourth out of seven teams.
Dager's first place finish of 481 points was earned by finishing 2nd in sporting, 5th in trap, 6th in trap doubles, 15th in skeet doubles, and 18th in skeet. Sophomore Tucker Carpenter took 15th with a score of 461, finishing 12th in skeet doubles and trap doubles, 18th in sporting, 45th in trap, and 50th in skeet.
Junior Hunter Gilbertson wasn't far behind, placing 18th with a score of 460 after finishing 12th in trap doubles, 15th in sporting, 19th in trap, 37th in skeet doubles, and 58th in skeet.
Junior Austin Hofts took 37th with a score of 449, junior Hayden Thomason took 44th with a score of 441, and senior Kyle Frederick took 47th with a score of 439.
Also competing for the Broncos was senior Rennick Turner (58th, score of 429), sophomore Chase Wieczorek and freshman Mollie Wechsler (T-67th, score of 414), freshman Jace Bax (69th, score of 413), sophomore Katrice Lyons (72nd, score of 411), sophomore Hannah Sears (75th, score of 409), and freshman Sara Malcolm (83rd, score of 388).
Hastings will compete next at the Bronco Invite in Hastings on Saturday, October 4-5.
