Mattern and Rowe Named Bronco Student-Athletes of the Month for March
(Hastings, NE) – Koen Mattern and Jaida Rowe have been named Bronco Student-Athletes of the Month for the month of March brought to you by Hastings Physical Therapy.
(Hastings, NE) – Koen Mattern and Jaida Rowe have been named Bronco Student-Athletes of the Month for the month of March brought to you by Hastings Physical Therapy.
Koen Mattern - Men's Wrestling - He was named an All-American by taking second place at Nationals. At 285, he went 4-1 in five matches, winning on two pins and two decisions, securing wins over the #1 and #4 seeded wrestlers.
Jaida Rowe - Women's Indoor/Outdoor Track and Field - She was named an All-American by placing eighth at Indoor Nationals in the 400m. To start the outdoor season, she has broken the 400m hurdle school record twice (55.44 - first at Central NE Challenge) and was named GPAC Track Athlete of the Week.
