Bronco Men Compete at Augustana Twilight Meet
(Sioux Falls, S.D.) – The Hastings men’s cross country team kicked off their season Friday night at the annual Augustana Twilight meet. They took sixth place among the GPAC schools that competed in the big race.

Senior Tatum Jelleberg had the best finish for the Broncos, placing 74th with a time of 20:11.55. Freshman Evan Struss also finished in the top 150, taking 139th with a time of 20:49.86, while junior Deshawn Burks ran a 21:05.10 race to place 163rd.
Junior Tyler Salter (21:13.46) finished just behind Burks to take 183rd and freshman Parker Graves (22:18.06) crossed the finish line in 260th place. Hastings also got contributions from juniors Luke Lewandowski (23:11.56) and Sam Wise (24:11.62), who finished just outside the top 300.
Hastings will compete next at the Greeno/Dirksen Invite in Lincoln, NE on Saturday, September 21. The race is scheduled to begin at 9am.
