Women's Bowling Finishes 15th at MidStates Championship
Wichita, KS – The Hastings College women’s bowling team competed at the MidStates Championships this past weekend and finished 15th with a team score of 8323 while Mount Mercy won with a team score of 9379.

Katie Morse was the top finisher for the Lady Broncos as she finished 53rd with a six-game total of 1010 for an average of 168.33. Her best game was game five with a 207.
The next top bowler was Marissa Ruiz as she finished 78th with a five-game total of 879 but her average was 175.8 as she did not bowl in game two. Her best game was game three with a217.
Shaylee Lux finished 89th with an 829 for an average of 138.17 with her best game coming in game three with a 167.
Hastings will be back in action Oct. 28-29 taking part in the Jayhawk Challenge down in Topeka, KS.
