The Lady Broncos added another run in the second inning as Sam Skinner reached first on a walk and then moved to second of a passed ball. Isabel Tanabe stepped up with a RBI single to center to make it 2-0.

Katyn Kappler reached safely on an dropped fly ball by the right fielder. Taylor Stuhr would make that hurt with a two RBI triple down the left field line as HC now led 4-0. Skinner would plate Stuhr with a sac fly to right to make it 5-0.
Even though Boever gave up a run in the bottom of the third, Hastings would use some small ball to plate two more runs in the fourth. Lauren Schneider led the inning off with reaching on a hit by pitch. Then Macie Mays double to left putting runners in scoring position. Two batters later Lexie Mudloff picked up a RBI on a ground out to third. Kappler would bring home Schelkopf when she reached on an error to make it 7-1.
Sterling would pick up two more runs to make it a 7-3 ball game but back-to-back home runs from Mays and Mudloff made it a 9-3 game in the sixth. Hastings would score two more in the seventh on a Kappler double to round out the scoring at 11-3. Boever would take care of the rest sealing the third win of the year.

Hastings wouldn't go down without a fight loading the bases in the sixth when Schneider ripped a single to center scoring Kourtney Stewart and Gerhard to make it 7-5.
