Schilke Earns GPAC Women's Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced that Brooke Schilke has been named the Women's Wrestler of the Week for January 20-26, 2025.
Schilke opened the Women's Warrior Invite with two tech fall wins over wrestlers from Manchester and Baldwin-Wallace. She continued her dominance in the quarterfinals with a late pin over Emily Gervais of the Purdue Wrestling Club. She also added a pin at the 4:19 mark to defeat William Penn's Kylee Eastwood in the semifinal. She ran into 18th-ranked Alexa Wolf of William Penn in the championship match, losing on a 4-2 decision to conclude the day at 4-1.
Schilke and the Broncos will wrestle next at Midland for a dual against the Warriors in Fremont, NE on Friday, Feb. 7 at 5pm.
