Women's Cross Country Finishes 6th in Twilight Classic
(Hutchinson, KS) – The women’s cross country team raced at the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic this evening, placing sixth out of 13 teams.
(Hutchinson, KS) – The women's cross country team raced at the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic this evening, placing sixth out of 13 teams.
Freshman Sydney Peck led the way for the Broncos, placing 11th overall with a time of 19:42.55. Junior Grace Dow followed with a strong showing of her own, finishing 20th in 20:37.83.
Senior Ava Brackhan came through next for Hastings, earning 45th place in 22:54.71. Freshman Claire Noerrlinger crossed the line in 47th place at 26:03.93, just ahead of fellow freshman Kate Baker, who placed 48th with a time of 23:14.39.
Freshman Paige Faimon finished in 54th at 24:08.70, while sophomore Destini Johnson rounded out the Bronco lineup in 61st at 26:24.18.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Muthama-Rogers Cross Country Invitational in North Newton, KS on Saturday, September 13 at 9:50 a.m.
