Women's Cross Country Finishes 8th at GPAC Championships
(Ashland, NE) – The women’s cross country team raced at the GPAC Championships on Saturday, placing eighth out of 12 teams in the 6K race.

Junior Grace Dow led the way for the Broncos, placing 34th overall with a time of 24:17.435. Freshman Kate Baker finished in 69th at 26:24.695, two spots ahead of senior Ava Brackhan, who took 71st place in 26:57.025.
Senior Mikayla Seebohm was the fourth Bronco to finish, taking 74th at 7:12.444, just ahead of freshman Paige Faimon, who placed 75th with a time of 27:28.266.
Freshman Claire Noerrlinger was 79th at 28:09.206 and sophomore Destini Johnson was 87th at 31:00.579.
Earlier in the week, it was announced that Brackhan, Baker, and freshman Sydney Peck qualified for the NAIA Marathon Championship, which will be held in Dallas, TX on Dec. 14. The indoor track and field season is set to begin competition on Dec. 12 at the UNK Pre-Holiday Classic in Kearney, NE.
