Women's Cross Country Finishes 7th at Muthama-Rogers Invitational
(North Newton, KS) – The women’s cross country team raced at the Muthama-Rogers Invitational at Bethel College this morning, placing seventh out of 14 teams in the 5K race.
(North Newton, KS) – The women's cross country team raced at the Muthama-Rogers Invitational at Bethel College this morning, placing seventh out of 14 teams in the 5K race.
Freshman Sydney Peck led the way for the Broncos, placing 21st overall with a time of 20:59.12. Junior Grace Dow finished 22nd, just behind Peck by less than a second, clocking in at 20:59.74.
Senior Ava Brackhan came through next for Hastings, earning 55th place in 23:30.08. Freshman Paige Faimon finished in 71st at 24:43.21, just ahead of fellow freshman Kate Baker, who placed 74th with a time of 25:01.11.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Grand View Invitational in Ankeny, IA, on Saturday, September 20 at 10am.
