Women's Cross Country Competes at Chile Pepper Festival
(Fayetteville, AR) – The women’s cross country team raced at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival, placing 19th out of 35 teams in the 5K race.

Junior Grace Dow led the way for the Broncos, placing 56th overall with a time of 20:13.4. Freshman Sydney Peck finished a matter of seconds later at 62nd, clocking in at 20:17.7.
Senior Ava Brackhan came through next for Hastings, taking 149th place in 22:19.5. Freshman Kate Baker finished in 185th at 23:23.1, just ahead of fellow freshman Paige Faimon, who placed 189th with a time of 23:43.1.
Freshman Claire Noerrlinger was 206th at 24:35.4 and sophomore Destini Johnson was 228th at 26:52.4.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic in Ashland, NE, on Saturday, October 25.
