Dow Places 8th to Lead Broncos to 5th Place Finish
(Ankeny, IA) – The women’s cross country team raced at the Grand View Invitational this morning, placing fifth out of eight teams.
(Ankeny, IA) – The women's cross country team raced at the Grand View Invitational this morning, placing fifth out of eight teams in the 6K.
Junior Grace Dow led the way for the Broncos, placing 8th overall with a time of 24:46.98. Senior Ava Brackhan placed 22nd with a time of 26:53.15. Freshman Kate Baker placed 28th with a time of 27:19.74.
Following right after was freshman Claire Noerrlinger, who placed 30th, with a time of 27:43.50. Freshman Paige Faimon placed 36th with a time of 28:18.99. Crossing the finish line right after was senior Mikayla Seebohm at 28:30.80.
Up next, Hastings will race at the Chili Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, AR on Saturday, October 4th at 12:10 p.m.
