Track Events – Nisa Thomas, Hastings College
Nisa Thomas of Hastings College is this week's track athlete-of-the-week. Thomas, a junior, from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, won the 60m hurdles at the UNK Pre-Holiday Classic with an NAIA "A" standard time of 8.86. That time currently leads the GPAC and is 10th in the NAIA. Thomas went on the win the 200m dash in a time of 25.88 (25.23 converted time). That was a NAIA "B" standard time and currently leads the GPAC and is sixth in the NAIA.
