Women's Track and Field Locks up 3 Gold Medals Over Weekend
The Hastings College women’s track and field teams were in action and were all over the map this past weekend with some competing down at the Kansas Relays while others were competing out at the Concordia Outdoor Invite and some competed at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and here are some of those results.

Kiara Anderson brought home the gold in the hammer throw with an "A" standard toss of 53.29m at the Concordia Invite
Jessa Eden also brought home the gold in the hammer throw with an "A" standard toss of 47.72m at the Loper Invitational.
Eden also brought home the gold on the discus with a mark of 44.99m while Anderson finished fourth with a mark of 43.22m.
Veronica Pinkerton finished third in the 800m run in a time of 2:24.
In the women's 1500m run Madison Gerken led the way with a fourth place finish in a time of 5:18. Elizabeth Baade finished sixth in a time of 5:28 while Cynthia Chaparro-Belloc finished seventh in a time of 5:36 and Mikayla Seebohm placed eighth in a time of 5:48
In the triple jump Trinity Doublin finished fourth with a leap of 10.91m while Ikea Cuff finished eighth with a leap of 10.25m. Cuff also finished eighth in the long jump with a jump of 5.15m.
The 4x100m relay team consisting of Kya Edwards, Jaida Rowe, Rhys Maxey and Nisa Thomas finished in seventh in a time of 49.68.
In the 100m dash Thomas led the way by finishing in a time of 14.27 while Rowe ran it in a time of 14.51. Maxey finished in a time of 16.11.
In the 400m hurdles Rowe finished in a time of 1:05 while Maxey ran it in a time of 1:10.
Hastings will be back in action Apr. 21-22 hitting the road to take part in the Jim Dutcher Memorial Outdoor track meet out in Crete, NE.
