Crete, NE – The Hastings College women’s track and field team took part in the Jim Dutcher Memorial this past weekend and finally got a nice day to bring home plenty of high marks.

Asia Tyler would finish second in the shot put with a mark of 13.55m.
Shania Santos led the way in the 10,000m run by finishing second in a time of 42:33 while Mikayla Seebohm finished third in a time of 45:49 and Ava Brackhan finished fourth in a time of 48:10.
In the 100m hurdles, Jaida Rowe went on to finish second in a time of 14.54 which is a 'B' standard national qualifying time while Rhys Maxey finished third in a time of 15.08. Rowe went on to finish second in the 400m hurdles with a lifetime best time of 1:03 which is also a 'B' standard national qualifying time. Rowe later finished fifth in the 100m dash in a time of 12.81 while Maxey finished seventh in a time of 12.93.
Veronica Pinkerton finished third in the 800m run in a time of 2:16 while Madison Gerken placed eighth in a time of 2:28.
Jessa Eden would finished second in the hammer throw with a mark of 54.06m while Kiara Anderson finished fifth with a toss of 51.82m. Anderson came back to finish second in the discus with a throw of 42.90m while Eden finished right behind her in third with a throw of 42.69m as both are 'A' standard national qualifying marks.
Trinity Doublin placed third in the triple jump with a leap of 10.92m while Ikea Cuff finished fifth with a leap of 10.42m
In the women's 4x800m relay, Hastings finished third in a time of 10:30. The team members are Jilee Golus, Cynthia Chapparro-Belloc, Landry Hinkson and Mikayla Seebohm.
The women's 4x400m relay team finished fourth in a time of 4:14. The team consists of Veronica Pinkerton, Madison Gerken, Cecilia Velarde and Diana Kollars.
In the women's high jump Zailee Poulson finished fifth with a mark of 1.65m.
The women's 4x100m relay team went on to finish seventh in a time of 49.59. The team consists of Kya Edwards, Jaida Rowe, Rhys Maxey and Nisa Thomas.
Hastings has a one more meet before conference and will compete at the NWU Prairie Wolf Invite Apr. 28-29 in Lincoln, NE.
