Men's Golf Starts Season With 4th Place Finish in OKC
(Oklahoma City, OK) – The men’s golf team traveled to Lincoln Park Golf Course to compete at the UC Ferguson Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, the 25th and 26th. The Broncos placed fourth overall out of 12 with a combined score of 16 under. Originally scheduled to play three rounds, weather allowed for just two total rounds.

Senior Henry Kosmicki led the team and placed seventh overall shooting five under with his lowest score being a 68. Senior Nicolas Silva was close behind, shooting four under through both rounds. Silva had a low round of 67 the second day landing him a tenth place finish.
Senior Ryker Dunkley was three under, landing him in the top 15 with his lowest round and the team's best round consisting of 66. Senior Max Nielsen finished one under.
Junior Josh Chapman was three over after the tournament and sophomore Ryan Brady, who traveled as an individual, finished two under. Also traveling as individuals, sophomore Blake Eddy shot six over and senior Alejandro Prada finished 10 over.
Up next, the Broncos head to Newton, KS on Tuesday, Sept. 2 to compete at the Mid South Classic in a two-day competition.
