Men's Golf Earns 2nd Place at Midwest National Spring Invite
(Manhattan, KS) – Hastings College’s Men's Golf Team traveled to Colbert Hills Golf Course to compete at the Midwest National Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday. They took second place out of the ten teams that competed, shooting +17 as a team, including the best first round score of -8.
(Manhattan, KS) – Hastings College's Men's Golf Team traveled to Colbert Hills Golf Course to compete at the Midwest National Spring Invite on Monday and Tuesday. They took second place out of the ten teams that competed, shooting +17 as a team, including the best first round score of -8.
Leading the team was junior Taiki Sugawara, who finished +3, placing sixth overall. His best round was the first, where he shot one under for the day. Close behind was junior Max Nielsen, who shot +4, placing seventh. His best round was also the first, where he shot even par.
Junior Blake Eddy ended up +7 through the three rounds, shooting four under on the first day of the tournament. Seniors Henry Kosmicki and Ryker Dunkley rounded out the Broncos, Kosmicki shooting +11 and Dunkley at +12.
Next, the Broncos will travel to Old Hickory, TN, to compete at the Music City Classic at Hermitage Golf Course on the 13th and 14th.
