Men's Golf Finishes 7th at Mid South Classic
(Newton, KS) - The Hastings College Men’s Golf team traveled to Sand Creek Station Golf Course this Tuesday and Wednesday to compete at the Mid South Classic. The Broncos took seventh out of the 18 teams that attended with a total of +18 as a team.
(Newton, KS) - The Hastings College Men's Golf team traveled to Sand Creek Station Golf Course this Tuesday and Wednesday to compete at the Mid South Classic. The Broncos took seventh out of the 18 teams that attended with a total of +18 as a team.
Leading the team was senior Ryker Dunkley, who finished only one over through all three rounds landing him an eighth place finish. Dunkley had his best score in the second round where he shot three under. Sophomore Ryan Brady wrapped up the tournament +6 with his best score of one under in the third round.
Senior Henry Kosmicki finished close behind with +7. Junior Max Nielsen finished all three rounds with a final score of +13 and senior Nicolas Silva shot +14.
Sophomore Blake Eddy who traveled as an individual finished +7 and freshman Ayden LaVern who also traveled as an individual wrapped up the tournament +31.
Next the Broncos travel to Orange City, IA to compete at the Men's Siouxland Invite, which will be held at the Landsmeer Golf Course on September 8th and 9th.
