Men's Golf Places 4th at Doane Spring Invite
(Lincoln, NE) – The Hastings College men’s golf team wrapped up their first tournament of the spring season at the Doane Spring Invite at Highland’s Golf Course. The Broncos took two teams to compete on Tuesday and Wednesday, with their ‘A’ team placing fourth and their ‘B’ team placing fifth.

Senior Ryker Dunkley led the team and secured a second-place finish. His combined score for both rounds was three under, with his best round being the second day, shooting six under, which was tied for the best round of all participants. Senior Henry Kosmicki placed tenth with a total score of one over. Kosmicki's best round was also the second, where he shot four under.
Sophomore Taiki Sugawara finished with 144 strokes after the two-day tournament, putting him at two over. Junior Max Nielsen wasn't far behind with a combined total of +5. Rounding out the 'A' team was junior Blake Eddy, who finished eleven over.
Leading the 'B' team was junior Josh Chapman, who scored a sixth-place finish with his best round on the second day, shooting one under. Sophomore Ryan Brady and junior Trevor Seeley finished two over.
Freshman Ryder Clarkson finished with 146 strokes, putting him four over. Wrapping it up for the Broncos was junior Jake Vick, who finished +13.
Next, the Hastings men's golf team will travel to Bullhead City, AZ, to compete on Mar. 23 and 24 at The Battle at the Laughlin Ranch GC.
