Women's Wrestling Falls to Doane, 33-13
(Hastings, NE) – On Senior Day against Doane, the Hastings Broncos fell 33-13 on Saturday afternoon.

Doane won the 103 and 110 weight classes to go up 10-0. Freshman Chloe Brewis got Hastings on the board with a 12-9 decision win at 117. The Tigers won by 124 by fall and by tech fall at 131 to take a 20-3 lead.
Senior Lisa Hoeflich won a close 3-2 decision over the Tigers at 138 and junior Reagen Gallaway won an 11-1 tech fall over 15th-ranked Bridgette Sotomayor at 145 to trail 22-10 overall with three bouts left.
Freshman Jayla Ford continued the momentum for Hastings with a 10-1 decision at 160, then Doane clinched the dual with pins at 180 and 207 to win, 33-13.
Up next, Hastings will dual at Midland on Friday, Jan. 30 at 6pm.
