Gallaway Awarded GPAC Women's Wrestler of the Week

(Sioux City, Iowa) – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced that Reagen Gallaway has been named the Women's Wrestler of the Week for January 26-February 1, 2026.
Gallaway went 5-1 during the week, including two first period pins over top 10 opponents. She had a critical pin in their 23-22 dual win at Midland, wrestling at 145 on Friday. On Saturday, she wrestled at 138 and began with a pin in less than a minute. Gallaway then pinned seventh-ranked Lexi Ritchie of Lindsey Wilson at the 1:06 mark and in the quarterfinals, winning by tech fall. She went on to pin eighth-ranked Isabelle Hawley of William Penn 47 seconds into the semifinal match before losing by tech fall to the top-ranked wrestler at 145, Esther Kolawole of William Penn, in the final.
The Broncos will wrestle next at the GPAC Duals on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 11am in Crete, NE.
