Men's Tennis Bested by Warriors, 6-1

All three doubles matches were very competitive, all decided by two games or less. At #1 doubles, sophomore Joel Carter and Aden Ingwerson raced out to a 3-0 lead and while Midland was able to chip away and get closer, Hastings pulled it out, 6-4.
On serve for most of the match at #2 doubles, Midland got a late break to get the win over sophomores Ben Hafer and Alex Hafer. At #3 doubles, senior Ethan Mins and freshman Gavin Watterson jumped out to a 4-1 lead before the Warriors stormed back to win 7-5 and secure the doubles point.
Midland won 6-0, 6-2 at #1 and #4 singles. At #2 singles, B. Hafer lost in two close sets, 6-3, 6-4. A. Hafer held a 5-4 lead in the first set at #3 singles, but Midland was able to rally and take the opening set, 7-5, then wrapped up the match with a 6-2 second set.
Ingwerson won by forfeit at #5 singles to get the lone Broncos' point. Watterson won the opening set at #6 singles, 6-3, but after Midland won the second set, 6-3, the Warriors won the third set supertiebreak, 10-5, taking the match 6-1.
