At #3 doubles, senior Ethan Mins and freshman Caden Carter got a quick 6-1 victory. Playing at #1 doubles, sophomore Joel Carter and freshman Aden Ingwerson picked up a 6-2 win. Sophomores Ben Hafer and Alex Hafer trailed 3-0 at #2 doubles, before rallying and winning the match, 6-4, as Hastings swept the doubles point for the 1-0 lead.
In singles, A. Hafer breezed to a 6-2, 6-1 win at #3 singles. At #1 singles, J. Carter won 6-4 in the first set, then pulled out the close second set, 7-5. Mins took the first set, 6-3, in #4 singles, and after losing 7-5 in the second set, he clinched the match for the Broncos with a 6-1 third set victory.
Ingwerson won easily at #5 singles, winning 6-0, 6-2. At #2 singles, B. Hafer came back from losing 6-2 in the first set to forcing a third set with a 6-4 second set win. The third set started before the clinch and eventually went to a third set tiebreak. B. Hafer overcame multiple match points and came out on top with the 10-8 tiebreak win. Freshman Gavin Watterson closed out the 7-0 shutout win at #6 singles with a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
