(Seward, NE) – Looking to avenge last week's 10-point loss to Oklahoma City, Hastings was the team that took control in the first half, going up 12 at the end of the first half. Senior DaRon Hall then exploded for 17 of his 24 points in the second half to give the Broncos their first win, 80-65. The performance from Hall landed him on the All-Cattle Classic team.
(Seward, NE) – The men’s basketball team took on Clarke in their first game of two at the Cattle Classic in Seward. They had a 34-31 halftime lead, but a 10-0 Clarke run midway through the second half led to a 84-69 win for the Pride.
(McPherson, KS) – Facing Oklahoma City on a neutral floor, the Stars led 14-2 early and while Hastings tied the game at halftime, the Stars proved to be too much, defeating the Broncos, 91-81.
(Bellevue, NE) – One day after their first game of the season, Hastings returned to the court, falling 92-79 to Bellevue.
