Park's Second Half Comeback Too Much for Broncos
(Parkville, MO) - The Hastings College Men’s Soccer team traveled to Julian Field this Wednesday to play against Park University in their second game of the season. The final score was 2-1, leaving Park University victorious. The Broncos had a strong first half but unfortunately could not hang on in the second half.

(Parkville, MO) - The Hastings College Men's Soccer team traveled to Julian Field this Wednesday to play against Park University in their second game of the season. The final score was 2-1, leaving Park University victorious. The Broncos had a strong first half but unfortunately could not hang on in the second half.
Hastings took eight shots in the first half, however sophomore Adonis Shabani scored the only goal for the Broncos. Junior Juan Rubio led the team with two shot attempts and had the assist to Shabani. Sophomore Tim Berger and junior Mauro Figueroa also had shot attempts.
In the second half, Park scored ten minutes in, along with a second goal later on that resulted in the 2-1 Broncos defeat. Rubio had his second shot attempt in the second half, along with shot attempts by senior Juan Lopez-Arteaga, junior Jake Watt, and senior Wade McWhorter.
The Broncos head to Graceland University in Lamoni, IA on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 5pm.
