Women's Track and Field Concordia Outdoor Invite Results

Senior Jaida Rowe broke the school record in the prelims 100m hurdles, racing through the finish line at a 'B'-Standard time of 13.93, finishing second. She then finished second in the finals with an identical time of 13.93.
In the 5000m race walk, sophomore Destini Johnson took first, setting a personal record and moved into second place in school history, winning the event in 29:59.49, just eight seconds off of a national qualifying time.
In the 4x800m relay, the Broncos won with a time of 9:52.68, as Rowe, junior Grace Dow, sophomore Lucy Carey, and freshman Brooklyn Sutter teamed up for the event. Sutter also ran in the 800m, placing third at 2:22.31, while Dow was right behind her in fourth at 2:23.46.
Rowe also qualified for the finals in the 100m, placing third in the prelims at 12.32. Freshmen Gianna Humphrey and Samara Humphrey also qualified for the 100m finals, placing fifth (12.74) and seventh (12.87) in the prelims. Sophomore Ava Reese and freshman Gabryella Bates were just outside the top eight qualifiers at 10th (13.11) and 13th (13.78). While Rowe didn't race in the 100m finals, G. Humphrey was fourth at 13.01 and S. Humphrey was sixth at 13.05.
In the 200m, Carey finished seventh with a time of 26.78 and senior Mikayla Seebohm took seventh in the 5000m, finishing at 22:26.59. Senior Ava Brackhan was 10th in the 10000m at 46:22.75 and freshman Paige Faimon came in 13th in the 400m at 1:07.03.
In the field events, Carey was seventh in the long jump with a top leap of 5.16m. Also in the long jump, S. Humphrey finished 20th at 4.44m and G. Humphrey took 21st at 4.43m. Senior Trinity Doublin placed 15th in the triple jump at 10.10m, while S. Humphrey was 19th (9.85m) and Bates was 20th (9.35m). In the high jump, senior Melissa Hines was 15th at 1.42m.
Sophomore Ellie Lloyd took eighth in the javelin with a top throw of 35.30m and was 22nd in the discus at 33.91m. Freshman Mattilynn Schroeder was 24th at 30.60m in the hammer and 13th in the shot put at 11.21m.
